Travels With Jock

Border Terriers are very portable and they love to be with you !!

Witby Aunty Jack, or Jock, as he is known to all, is at home on the water or dry land.

Jock lives the enviable life of the free spirit and we love receiving postcards and holiday snaps from this blue and tan boy.

"Hiya Everyone!!!"

"Didn't quite make it to Northern Territory before my first birthday, but had a great day at Mt Isa with some family friends and their 6 mth old blue heeler to play with - fantastic fun.

My holiday was so exciting.  We travelled from our new home in South Australia, to Adelaide , back to Victoria to catch up with friends, then up to Queensland where I spent a week in a kennel with heaps of cool canine friends and even had not 1 but 2 hydrobaths - love em.

I was so excited to be back with my family & on the road.  We set out to Mission Beach, where I learned to ride a slide and bounce on a trampoline - great fun!!!  The best thing is there are Cane Toads everywhere & I have to sleep in the car with the family (love it) .Mt Isa which I told you about was our next stop before heading on to the outback.

It was sooooo hot.  Lucky for me I was lined up on an outdoor chair and stripped, before ANOTHER Bath.  I am so clean and smell like a poof.  Any way, having less fur is cool and the family say that I don't look too fat now.  I just know I am cute anyway.  After another 2 days drive we arrived at the Roper river where I got right into the fishing thing, and swimming and saving Ted (my bear)  After 2 weeks of this we packed up for the last time headed through Woomera (where I lost my bear) and then home.  After 6 weeks...... its great to be home.  I have now been to all states in mainland Australia except WA and plan to add that to my list of one day.

I love the car, although I do get into trouble for slobbering on the windows and now have my own towel to sit on in the cruiser.  Besides that..... its a pretty good life"
